On the facade of the building of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after Anton Makarenko, a memorial plaque was unveiled in memory of its graduate Artur Abramitov perished in the ATO/JFO.
His relatives, colleagues, representatives of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, teachers and the clergy, who held a memorial service for the hero and all the fallen soldiers who gave their lives for Ukraine, came to honor the memory of the defender of Ukraine.
In March 2016, Artur joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine as grenade launcher operator of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi, he was directly involved in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
