Today, on the territory of the future Heavenly Hundred Heroes Memorial, in Instytutska Street, a Bell of Dignity has been installed.
“The Bell has been installed to commemorate the Heavenly Hundred Heroes and all the Ukrainians who defended independence and freedom for the country. The Bell of Dignity has a unique mournful and still solemn tonality,” noted Ihor Poshyvailo, Director General of the Revolution of Dignity Museum, National Memorial Complex of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes.
The relatives of the perished activists of Maidan were the first to ring the Bell.
Oleksandr Bryndikov, the Revolution of Dignity Museum designer, is the author of the conception. Serhii Nazarevych is the creator of the Bell. At the time, he made the Bell of Memory installed on the territory of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, where it is rang every day in the memory of the perished in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The Bell of Dignity was created by the efforts of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, National Memorial Complex of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes, the Revolution of Dignity Museum, and philanthropists.
